Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park

Every year growing up my family would take so many camping trips. We would tent camp in some of the most beautiful National and State Parks on the East Coast, hike the trails all weekend, and leave for home on Sundays always dreaming of our next Friday afternoon camp set up. Some of my most vivid memories from my childhood are of camping and hiking, especially in Shenandoah National Park. I will forever be grateful for my parents and the love they instilled in me of the outdoors.

It's one of my biggest goals and dreams to ensure our children are raised the same way. I want our kids to appreciate tent camping, love spending the afternoons on the trails with our family, and look forward to new adventures in new places.

When my parents planned their yearly big camping trip this year I invited ourselves along- ha! My poor parents sometimes, I always keep them on their toes! My parents started in Dallas and drove three days up to Glacier National Park with their RV and we met them a few days later after Patrick was done with OTAs. Even though RV camping isn't the same as tent camping I love it just as much- maybe more, since you know... showers.

We are starting at Glacier National Park, staying here a few days and are heading off to another National Park before heading back to Chicago! We are so excited to share our adventures with you and give you a glimpse of what this park holds! Neither Patrick, Pam nor I have been to Montana so we are even more excited about this trip than usual. Today we drove into Glacier for a few hours and adventured around the Park. It was constantly raining and sleeting so when there was a break in the weather we dashed to the park to see as much as we could. Although it was cloudy it was so breathtakingly beautiful. I cannot was to see what it looks like during a nice day!
